Nervous Nellie's Ft Myers Beach

We had an incredible seafood dinner here tonight. The shrimp and scallops bruschetta was amazing and you get a lot of it. We also had the boil pot with the king crab, snow crab, mussels, and oysters. WOW! It was so good! I highly recommend going here.

We had dinner here tonight..the food excellent. Our waitress was amazing. So sweet. So attentive. Truly the best.

The fried grouper, oh my goodness. The best I've had! Servers were super friendly, great atmosphere. They have lots of extras for touristy type souvenirs (super large drinks with glasses you can take home). A little pricey, but definitely worth it especially, if your having a special night during your vacation.

It was pretty good, had the ridiculous reuben and it was fairly ridiculous. Good mojito, service was decent.

So Glad to check out this awesome spot on the water after a well deserved Cinco Dimayo! Super good food!!

Wonderful awesome delicious Awesome service awesome drinks that are not water down at all. We got there when they weren't very busy. The owner came by to check on us I've eaten here several times. Even though I'm from out of state. They also have an awesome gift shop with quality stuff in it. Not like what you see in most places. That's just junk. This stuff is nice. They have a pretty good selection of t-shirts also.

Great gumbo. My wife is from Louisiana and makes gumbo at home. Nellie's has a really good seafood gumbo. Enough to fill you up and leave happy on the meal alone. We will be going back.(UPDATE) We went back and they did not disappoint. Excellent. We both had the Sailor's Delight. It's not about volume with that dish, it's about the quality and the flavor. You get both in spades. Fantastic.

Our server Derek was absolutely amazing! He was so attentive and went over and beyond to ensure that we had a great and memorable dining experience! The food and atmosphere was wonderful and I will definitely be coming back!

Ask for Thomas he made us feel SO special, had super knowledge of the extensive menu, helped us pick one heck of an AWESOME meal! He definitely knew his stuff! You gotta try the sinful homemade cornbread! Scallops & shrimp were fat and tasty! Snapper was sweet and delicate perfectly pan sauteed, veggies were perfectly cooked not soggy at all. Great views reasonable prices.

With a menu that large, there's almost the expectation of mediocre meals. However, every person in our 6 person party ordered different meals in addition to 3 appetizers, and everything was great. This meal was the first of our week long vacation, and I can imagine we'll be back again before we leave. Our waiter Michael (Mike) was an enjoyable addition. Requesting him won't lead to disappointment.

Fabulous food large portions. Coconut shrimp is delicious and the blackened grouper. Nia is an excellent beautiful waitress with a beautiful smile and great sense of humor. Nia is very passionate about her job. Thank you will return for another taste but will split my meal next time

The San Carlos burger is the best and their plank potatoes are very good. We would definitely go there again soon. The service was super.

Food was wonderful! Our waitress, not so much. Very slow service, and we had to interrupt her to ask for things. We also had to ask if we could order dessert as she was trying to rush us out. Really had a great time last visit we were here, so today was disappointing.

My wife got the shrimp and scallops salad and it was excellent. I got the boom boom shrimp tacos and they were very good. The painkillers were huge and very tasty. Will visit again.

A great place for a good night out with friends. Live music and good friends make for a good time. Service is good and the food was delicious. I often go there when I am in Ft Myers.

Came to watch the Christmas boat parade and enjoyed a delicious dinner. We thought we were too late but we caught boats returning to harbor. Great service...we actually dined upstairs at Ugly's which is same menu items. We were visiting from San Antonio and will definitely return and spread the good word!

We had a large group of 18 people. Trying to accommodate us during an evening in which there was a little rain and they could not use their outside seating area. Food was good.

Had a amazing lunch with my family here yesterday! The service was amazing! If u get a chance ask for Michael he was above and beyond a great server! And o ya the key lime pie is to die for !! Well if h are looking for great food / view / all around good time I recommend this place when u visit beautiful fort Myers beach!

Fantastic experience, great location and atmosphere. Staff exceptional our server Angel was very attentive and professional. I will definitely be going there again since I now live in the Fort Myers area. P..S. order the pain killer drink, Yum Yum. Thank you Angel for recommending it. Oh, one more thing love the dog menu, made my dog happy.

We've been going to Ft Myers Beach for years and always go to Nervous Nellie's at least once. The seafood lovers in our group are always happy with the lobster and crab legs, the rest of us get a variety of things and everyone is always happy. The portions are good sized and the pricing is very reasonable.

Amazing staff. Amazing atmosphere. Drinks and the beach. Live music. Lived here for 4 years. Still come here when I need that vacation feeling!

The place is awesome. Great food.Jules was my server and she was fantastic. Also a great atmosphere. I highly recommend and Will return to this restaurant. The music by julie Savannah was fantastic as well.

Good food, great service, great ambience on the water. We came by boat and we're instantly greeted by a guy/staff who helped us dock our boat! Much appreciated!

The Menu is about 6 pages long. Have everything on it from Mexican food, to seafood, BBq, to burgers, to Italian pastas.....leads me to think "how can they possibly keep all that food fresh with a menu of that size. That being said I didn't eat there. But it was a fun environment and beer was cold.

They have a Gluten Free Menu!!! The food was good, and the prices were fair. The cream artichoke dip was good, but we certainly didn't find any crab in it. The World's Largest Shrimp & Lobster Cocktail was actually bigger than I thought it was going to be!!

We ate dinner here while visiting Ft. Myers Beach. Both the food and drink menus had a large variety; something for everyone! I’d definitely recommend the Coconut shrimp! We sat on the deck and enjoyed the live entertainment and the beautiful night sky. I wish I could give them 5 stars, but unfortunately the service had a few hiccups. It took a while after being seated to even be greeted by a server. Our server then forgot to put our appetizer order in which caused our entire meal to be held up. Furthermore, our drink orders took a good 15 minutes each. We were told that the bar was under staffed that night, and that’s why our drinks were taking such a long time. I would definitely give them another try in the future though.

A first time experience at Nervous Nellie's and it was absolutely incredibly deliciously good. Zach our server and Dakota the trainee went above and beyond with service very helpful suggestions. I had the grouper was awesome my cousin had sea food platter and they bury were cooked to perfection flavors burst in your mouth the tavern bread is like none I have ever had and recommend honestly portion sizes are very large and highly suggest sharing entrees and still would probably have take home. Prices were very fair for the quality and quantity of food and their dessert tray made you want one of each also the cornbread with the marmalade melted in your mouth as you can tell we left very well fed! Will go again if and when I return to Fort Myers Beach!

Amazing $5 happy hour. Food is phenomenal.We had the most ADORABLE hostess greet us. The service staff were also great. We had what appeared to be a waitress in training & she was great.Portion sizes are huge. Menu selection is also wonderful. Party of 4 and no complaints. Would go back.

Awesome, had a big ice cold beer and shared a dinner with my wife, blue crab stuffed shrimp. Sat outside on a beautiful evening, had great service.

This is a great place for boat watching! The upper floor is a different menu. Lobster Roll has big chunks of fresh lobster.

We took our dingy in from anchorage. Service was excellent. Portions were large. We ordered the chicken Phillies, huge, chicken was a bit dry but still good. I up charged for the onion rings. They brought fries and immediately corrected with O rings. The onion rings were not hot and in my opinion overcooked. Could have been better but not a disappointment. Drinks were thumbs up! YES, to a great restaurant!!

Michael was our waiter tonight & we had THE best seafood that he recommended & he even comped us a piece of Key Lime Pie, just because we were nice people!! We will definitely return!! Also loved his quotes from different movies!! Really a great time there!!!

Beautiful place right on the water.Definitely ask for a seat outside if weather prevails, inside has a bit of an antiseptic odor. They use the server takes your order and food runner delivers the food technique so when your food is incorrect or room temperature it's really too late to fix it before the server revisits their table. Our server was super cool...The food tasted great but really needed some heat to be worth eating. Not sure what else to do or say... wasn't really that busy in our area for as many staff that were walking around.

Went with classmates from HS, from many years ago. Everyone's food was excellent. Service good and view from outside deck was waterfront and nice. Conversation was possible because of location of tables. A bit on the expensive side. $28 for 2 sides, pieces of fish, a few shrimps and 6 med sized scallops. All cooked perfectly and very good. Varied menu focusing on seafood. But other things available. Had a large plate of fried mozzarella sticks with marinara that were big and yummy.

Perfect setting for dinner, food was amazing, and our server Michael was top notch.

Nice decor and the view was nice. I had the Reuben and it was very good. My friend had the Gumbo and he said it was very good. Our waitress was not all that attentive but the manager stepped in to pick up her slack. We even had to wait for our bill. I would try it if your over there. Popular place with outdoor seating as well..

Amazing place! First time being here and drinks were great came out right after ordering. Food was out not even 5 minutes after drinks were out. Drinks and food both tasted great and service was amazing! Tommy was our waiter and did an amazing job. Will be coming here again!

Stopped here for lunch with my landlubbing wife. The waitress was very helpful and suggested the shrimp and scallop bruschetta for me (I was contemplating the spicy fried shrimp). Her suggestion was a good one- served with a basket of toasted bread slices to sop up the delicious broth. She changed up the fish in the fish taco to chicken for my wife. All food was delicious, and the view of the bay bridge offered a nice setting to view from the upper deck. I had a 16oz Nervous Nellie Ale. Nice place!!👍

Fun atmosphere, with great food and a wide choice of items. Good cocktails. Charles our waiter was very good and attentive and had the kitchen make us an order of very tasty garlic bread, which was not on the menu, buy should be. Great views of Estero Bay.

Good Fort Myers Beach restaurant that overlooks the bay. A very large place with two levels. The upstairs is called Ugly and the downstairs is called Nervous Nellie's. They have live music in season that is not too loud as is some of the other restaurants in this area. The prices are competitive with the other like restaurants in the area.

We were there as a stop on a bus tour. 60 of us. It was planned ahead of time and they had a limited menu (to help expedite our time) and the menu options were great. To be able to serve 60 people in a short amount of time with wonderful customer service was amazing. The potato wedges were awesome. Our server Bryan was very friendly and efficient. Definitely someplace to return to!!

I just found this place by chance while wandering down Fort Myers Beach in search of some food and a drink. This place was exactly what we needed to get away from the sun and the massive crowds! I loved every second. The staff was incredibly friendly--Andrew was super duper nice and told us about some local spots to check out, and Thomas and Chris were great as well! The food was delicious-- we got the queso fries which were big steak fries drenched in cheese and cooked perfectly. The drinks were good and the bathrooms were very clean.
